A New York City native, Chun draws deep inspiration from the city’s vast flavors and her rich Korean heritage. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute and working at celebrated institutions like Le Cirque and Montrachet, Chun opened her own market-driven restaurant in the East Village. Across professional kitchens and years of recipe development as an editor at top food publications such as Gourmet, Food & Wine, Bon Appétit and Real Simple, she has become known for creating bold, restaurant-quality dishes using accessible ingredients and approachable techniques.
