Jerry Higgins

Jerry “J.” Higgins, Jr. is an author, chaplain, and mentor dedicated to helping athletes and individuals discover their identity beyond performance, pressure, and expectations. As the founder of AnchorPoint Press, he creates faith-based devotional resources that build confidence, resilience, and purpose.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran with over 20 years of leadership experience in the IT field and a background in business and technology, Jerry brings discipline, real-world perspective, and spiritual insight into his work. He is an ordained Officiating Chaplain through Christian Leaders Institute.

Jerry develops Men’s Bible Study Guides and leads a local men’s Bible study group, walking alongside men in their faith journey. He is also the creator of the Beyond the Scoreboard series, used by athletes to strengthen confidence and identity beyond the game.
