Lee Passarella

Lee Passarella served as senior literary editor for "Atlanta Review" and as poetry editor for "Kentucky Review." His poetry has appeared in "Chelsea," "Cream City Review," "Louisville Review," "The Formalist," "Antietam Review," "JAMA," "The Wallace Stevens Journal," "Cortland Review," and other journals and anthologies. He has been nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize. His books of poetry include "Swallowed Up in Victory," "The Geometry of Loneliness," and "Redemption," along with the chapbooks "Sight Reading Schumann" and "Magnetic North." He is also the author of two young adult novels with a Civil War theme—"Storm in the Valley" and "Cold Comfort, Ill Wind"—as well as the recent historical crime novel "In the Deep," set in Philadelphia at the beginning of the Civil Rights era.
