Curtavis J. Mitchell Sr. is a U.S. Army veteran, manufacturing leader, and motivational storyteller raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Adopted at six, he grew up between two families and two identities, learning early the value of service, loyalty, and showing up for others. His military service with the 101st Airborne Division shaped his discipline and resilience, and his years in manufacturing leadership taught him how to guide teams through pressure and change. He now lives in Kentucky with his wife, Ciara, and their children, where he writes about identity, fatherhood, and the work of becoming different than the world expected.
