James Moser has lived in many places and has experienced numerous magical events in his life. A retired math teacher and Aikido instructor, James also counts being a chess player and banjoist among his other talents. His life has taken him from Hawaii to the Ashanti Forest near Wiamoase with stops in between, but he claims Bloomington, Indiana as his hometown.
James has recently published three books he has been working on for the past twenty years, including: Coffeehouse Grind, a novella about coffee, grieving, survival, and most importantly, transformation; Mizushido: The Way of the Water Warrior, a book based on a philosophy his ancestor, Mizushima Kiyoki developed in the early 17th century as a samurai coping with the sudden onset of peace in the Edo Period of Japan and The Pen, a novella about a writer with Edgar Allan Poe's pen traveling in time to learn what it takes to be a successful writer in 1926 Baltimore.
These three books make up his Transformation Trilogy; offering readers a path toward accepting themselves and being present for every wonderful moment of their lives. James has begun work on a young adult book about time travel and a rubber band car invented by Nikola Tesla.
