Christopher Beesley has 26 years’ experience in sports journalism.

As Everton reporter for Merseyside’s most-read media outlet, the Liverpool Echo, he covers the Toffees’ matches home and away, plus every other element of the club, both on and off the pitch.

He lives – with his wife Chloe and their daughters Cecilia, Melissa and Jemima – in the seaside town of New Brighton. This affords him enviable views across the Mersey of Liverpool’s world-famous skyline that (for now at least) takes in three major football grounds: Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, Goodison Park and one of the Blues’ other previous homes up on a hill, where they won their first League Championship.
