William Albert Van Brunt
For over a decade, Mr. Van Brunt has devoted his time exclusively to the study of climate change.
In his most recent book, "Drain the Fuel of Climate Change – Make It Rain", Mr. Van Brunt sets out a straightforward, complete, and accessible explication of climate change.
The physical principles he introduces are validated within at least 0.8% of the published global temperature data from NOAA.
Relying solely on data published by the UK’s Met Office and NOAA, alongside public economic data regarding weather-related losses, he has derived the complete physics of climate change which show how a 13% increase in the atmospheric concentration of water vapor since the early seventies has driven a 1,300% increase in the annual devastation wreaked by events of catastrophic weather, which have taken the lives of two million as they have injured and destroyed the livelihoods of upwards of a billion.
His work sets out the data showing that the rate of increase in global warming—along with the severity and frequency of extreme weather—can not only be limited but reversed, how we can take definitive action to reverse climate change.
The physical principles underlying his work disprove and are therefore totally at odds with the hypotheses and conclusions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that the eight thousandths of a percent, 0.008%, increase in the atmospheric concentration of CO2 since 1970 has driven the 1 ºC increase in the average global temperature which required a 2% increase in the heating of the planet.
He notes that the IPCC’s unproven and wholly incorrect, consensus based conclusion that the increasing atmospheric concentration of CO2 drives global warming has become an article of faith for carbon emission reduction advocates. Despite the large scientific consensus supporting it, he shows why this conclusion is wholly wrong.
Not a publicity-seeking climate denier, he notes that climate change, including global warming, is real and profoundly serious.
Mr. Van Brunt, a former rocket scientist, earned his B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Penn State and an M.S.in Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT, working full time and attending as a full time student throughout all of his postgraduate education.
Early in his career, Mr. Van Brunt was a senior aerothermodynamicist focused primarily on research and writer of software to determine the forces and the intense heating imposed by hypersonic flow, to design hypersonic vehicles.
Out of necessity, Mr. Van Brunt is a self-taught climate scientist, having worked exclusively on the science of climate change for over a decade.
Mr. Van Brunt is also an attorney at law, a graduate of both the Boston University, JD and Harvard Schools of Law, LLM, who, until retirement, as an executive vice president, secretary and general counsel for a major international corporation was an international corporate lawyer who was part of many very successful business and legal teams negotiating and writing massively complicated acquisition, disposition and financing agreements and entente cordials across the globe.
His work is completely voluntary.
He is totally independent and has not worked for or represented and has never had any direct or indirect connection or affiliation with any entity involved with either the fossil fuel or De-Carbonist industries.
Today, he is a pro bono advocate on behalf of humankind.
