A table games dealer on the graveyard shift at a casino in Welch, Minnesota, I started writing in January 2026 during my thirty minute breaks, scribbling down the recurring dreams I’ve been having almost my whole life. I broke my wrist May 1st 2026 and kept me out of my real job all of May, June, July, and half of August. I spent most of my time up at our camper in Hayward, Wisconsin-and the Northwoods did the rest.

I write Pops Northwoods Tales series: campfire legends, ghost stories, and VFW cribbage tales from the lake country of Northern Wisconsin, where the fish are big, the nights are dark, and the stories are always true. Mostly

I live in Minnesota with my Wife, two dogs, and a cat who keeps showing up in some of my books and solving cases.
