I’m Thomas Edmond, professionally known as DJ Big Daddy, a Houston, Texas native whose life and career have always been rooted in music, culture, and creative expression. Born and raised in Houston, I've spent over two decades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I built a great life and career as a radio personality and nightclub DJ. When I was sipping , I wasn’t just playing records—I was creating memories, moving crowds, and bringing people together and treated every night like it was my own private house party . My energy and passion helped me become a respected voice in the South Fla LGBTQ club scene, celebrating the sounds and artists that defined entire generations.

For me, music has always been personal. I grew up with records in my hand. Over time, that love became something greater—it became a calling. I began to realize that many of the voices and sounds that i love and grew up with and dance to on filled dance floors were slowly being forgotten. That realization sparked a mission in me: to preserve and share the legacy of classic dance music with younger generations, making sure these creators are remembered, honored, and never reduced to footnotes in history.

As the co-founder of G.O.A.T. Multimedia Entertainment, I'm working to build more than just a brand—I’ve created a space for creativity, opportunity, and community. Through G.O.A.T., I'm self publishing my own books while also supporting and uplifting other emerging writers. It’s also home to pageant productions and online DJ communities—two passions that have played a major role in shaping my journey.

Along my way in life, I’ve also worked as a Realtor in Houston, started a drag management company along with many other things i could dream up, carrying my entrepreneurial spirit into everything I do.

Today, as an author, I write from the heart. Telling my story in someway My goal is to inspire, connect and share with young readers. Also introducing them to the rich history of dance music and the legendary artists who made people move, feel, and come together as well as teachable life lessons. For me, this is more than writing—it’s about preserving a legacy starting conversations and making sure the music, the culture, and the spirit of those who came before us continue to live on and dance through future generations.
