Stephen Peridore

Stephen Peridore is a career educator and Department Chair of World Languages at the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, where he has taught English as a Second Language since 1999. A second language learner of French, he pursued advanced study in Paris and served as an English instructor at the Prytanée National Militaire in La Flèche, France. He holds a B.A. in French Language and Culture, an M.A. in French Linguistics, and is Ph.D. (ABD) in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching. He has authored numerous publications on ESL pedagogy, second language acquisition theory, Hawai'i, and Contemporary France, French history, language, and culture.
