Rich Moore

Rich Moore's first management job started with an empty office. The team he was hired to lead had already walked out the door, following their previous manager on the way out. He had no playbook, no system, and no clear standard for what he expected from anyone, including himself.

He made it up as he went. And eventually, he had to fire his top salesperson. Not because that rep had failed. Because the environment Rich had built, or failed to build, made the outcome almost inevitable. The day he stopped blaming the team and looked in the mirror was the day he became a real leader.

That moment is what this book is about.

Rich has spent 30 years in sales training, working with managers and teams across industries to close the gap between what leaders expect and what they actually create. He is a Navy veteran, a certified NLP and hypnosis practitioner, and someone who has sat in the hard chair on both sides of a performance conversation.

He lives by one conviction: the chaos on the sales floor is almost always an echo of the chaos in the manager's office. Fix the leader. The team will follow.
