Audrey Fox

Audrey Fox is a Quebec-based author of romance and contemporary fiction, known for creating emotionally rich, sensitive stories with deeply human characters. Refusing to be confined to a single genre, she also explores urban fantasy (Noire Malédiction) and children’s literature through her series Les contes de la Renarde, where she gently addresses emotions and family realities.

A mother of three and a proud advocate of “organized chaos,” Audrey draws inspiration from her everyday life—between nature, music, and quiet moments by the water. When she’s not writing, she can be found organizing cultural events, capturing the beauty of the world through photography, or heading off on a spontaneous adventure.

Originally from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region, where she returned to live as an adult, Audrey developed a deep love of reading at an early age. As a child, books were her refuge—a way to calm her curious mind—a habit that has since become an essential part of her life.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Leisure, Culture, and Tourism and works professionally in the cultural and communications sectors, actively contributing to the promotion of the arts. She is also the founder of Éditions Nova.

Her work includes the novel Promesse d’une nuit d’été, as well as several children’s books, including Juste un petit dernier and Qui a vu le girafon?. Her urban fantasy novel Noire Malédiction is forthcoming. Selected by the CALQ for a children’s writing project aimed at young readers with reading difficulties, she continues to create inclusive and accessible stories.
