Deborah Busby is a university professor of Creative Writing, Literature, and Composition by day and a paranormal enthusiast by night. She is obsessed with urban legends, the supernatural and paranormal, and the just plain weird.
She authored the best-selling, award-winning novel "Turning Point", published in July 2012 by Mitchell-Morris Publishing.
Real-life events almost always inspire her stories. The series “Sonoran Desert Mysteries,” to which "Running from Roswell" is the premiere novel, is based on the on-the-job stories of her now-retired police officer husband. She is well-versed in police and investigative procedures, but beyond that, she writes about things that could happen and did.
Deborah lives in Mesa, Arizona with her husband and three black cats: Shadow, Raven, and Rmi.
She writes what she enjoys reading most: Mysteries, Contemporary Women’s Fiction, and Young Adult Science Fiction. She is almost always on the creative side of her brain. When she isn’t writing or investigating the paranormal, she is knitting, painting, playing the piano, and creating miniatures.
Deborah prides herself on illustrating ordinary people experiencing human emotions that the audiences and readers can connect with.
