Sean Higgins is an Australian crime fiction writer whose stories are driven by character, tension, and the choices people make under pressure. Based in Victoria, he draws on an investigative background in homicide, robbery, and sexual assault to bring authenticity and emotional weight to the darker corners of the genre.

His debut novel, A Different Shade of Blue, marked the beginning of the DS Michael Reagan series, followed by the second book, Weight of Silence, which deepens the psychological and procedural landscape of his work.
