Jacqueline was born and raised in South Florida to Cuban parents who fled the communist regime in the early 1960s. Growing up in the close-knit community of Westchester deeply shaped her values, ethics, and sense of family. This inspiration led to her publishing The Westchester Kids, a collection of 31 real-life stories from herself and others who grew up there as well.
A passionate photographer, Jacqueline created the South Florida Life Photo Gallery on social media to share her love for capturing the essence of life in the region. She is also an accomplished novelist, having recently published her fourth book, South Beach Rescue, inspired by a real event she experienced in 1989.
Jacqueline is the proud mom of a senior Chihuahua named Charlie, who holds a special place in her heart. Charlie even graces the cover of her third book, Chihuahua Parents, which features 30 stories from Chihuahua owners.
Her passion for storytelling and country music extends into songwriting, with several of her songs set for release in 2026. She is also working on a short play she hopes to produce in the future.
Having lived in the Florida Keys for many years, Jacqueline enjoyed boating, scuba diving, and the outdoor lifestyle. Her time in Key Largo serves as the backdrop for her upcoming crime thriller set in the Florida Keys.
With a love for travel, Jacqueline has explored many parts of the U.S. and other countries, immersing herself in the diverse cultures and customs of each location. These experiences continue to influence both her writing and photography.
