Jeff Thompson

After retiring from a lifetime of teaching and the marriage of his youngest, Jeff Thompson expected to spend his later years serving abroad alongside missionary friends, many of whom he met throughout decades of involvement with Indian Springs Holiness Campmeeting. Instead, life led him into a different calling: becoming the full-time caregiver for his elderly mother.

In the quiet rhythms of caregiving, Jeff finally found the time to complete Excerpts of Christian Wisdom, the first in what he hopes will become a series of devotionals drawn from the writings of early Christian believers.

An avid student of early Christianity, Jeff is passionate about bringing the timeless wisdom of the early church to modern readers seeking a deeper walk with Christ. He believes the voices of early Christians still speak powerfully to believers today. Excerpts of Christian Wisdom is the first volume in a planned seven-volume series.
