Gurihiru

Gurihiru is a Japanese illustration team, manned by the masterful Naoko Kawano and Chifuyu Sasaki.

Before working in the US Comic market, Kawana was a successful web designer and Sasaki was an art museum receptionist.

While still working in Japan, the two entered a manga competition, which led to them securing jobs in the US.

As well as illustrating the Unico series of graphic novels, Gurihuru often work with Marvel, illustrating titles for Power Pack, Fantastic Four, and Gus Beezer and Spider Man.
