Kyla Voss is a Singapore-based author who writes at the intersection of desire and consequence — where the darkness is elegant, the heat is earned, and the psychological cost is always real. Every book she writes circles the same question: who owns a body, and who owns the will inside it?

She is best known for three series.

The Vesper Collective is a run of thirty-one standalone dark erotic novellas set in a near future where neural implants can rewrite personality, desire and identity — temporarily, if you’re lucky. Each book follows a different woman who signs Vesper’s contract for her own reasons. Each chooses how much she remembers. Most choose to forget. Read them in any order; read enough of them and something colder assembles underneath.

Ilyrn’s Breeding Harem is dark fantasy about a mountain people with no women of their own, a goddess who keeps her bargains to the letter, and the warriors remade to carry the bloodline. It runs five books: the founding of the Ilyrn in The Ritual and The Founding Blood, and the trilogy that begins with The Offering.

The Necromancer Queen follows a poisoned king who wakes inside the body of the necromancer who died to save him, and chooses to become the most dangerous version of her. It’s three books and a prequel, The Necromancer’s Making, the story of the woman he became.

Her books are written for adult readers who want fiction with teeth: explicit, intimate, and never clean or cozy. Every book that promises a happy ending delivers one. None of them are easy. And every so often, as in Terms & Conditions Apply, she lets the heat be funny.

When she is not building fictional worlds, Kyla can be found on the baseball diamond, or completely contradicting that energy by finishing a book in one sitting somewhere quiet. She believes the best stories — like the best games — are entirely about timing.
