A. David Haddock

David Haddock has always loved telling stories. Having a rather rambunctious and adventurous imagination only fueled his desire to write and tell his stories and musings. School and homework were not in the training arsenal that inspired his imagination and natural ability for storytelling, but with the help of a well educated U.S. Marine Corps Major, he found his talent and began writing in earnest.

David spent ten years in the U.S. Navy as an Anti-Submarine Warfare Operator and Rescue Swimmer on SH-2F Seasprite and SH-60B Seahawk helicopters. He served and saw action while conducting combat operations during the Persian Gulf War when deployed aboard the USS Princeton.

David has spent his post-Navy career as a specialty coffee professional. His experience and knowledge has contributed to the explosion of the modern specialty coffee revolution and he continues to this day experimenting, processing and seeking that ultimate perfect cup.

David resides in Southwestern North Carolina with his family.
