Thomas Perez is a lead software engineer based in the South of France, with more than fifteen years of experience in backend development across startups, scale-ups, and larger product organizations.

His interest is in the small, often invisible practices that make engineering teams work: how decisions get made, how disagreements get resolved, how silence in a meeting becomes a problem six months later. Refining Engineering is his first book.
