David Miller

David Miller was born in 1946 and raised in Stringer, Mississippi. In 1963 he moved to Arkansas, where the Lord would greatly use him in pastoral and preaching ministry. Over the years he studied at State College of Arkansas, Williams Baptist College, and Arkansas Tech, and he pastored several churches in Arkansas, including Botkinburg Baptist Church, Rupert Baptist Church, and Belleville Baptist Church. He also served for twenty-five years as Director of Missions for the Little Red River Baptist Association in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

In 1995 David entered full-time evangelistic ministry and founded Line Upon Line Ministries. Known as the “Country Preacher-at-Large,” he devoted himself to expository preaching, gospel proclamation, and the strengthening of local churches. Though hindered by a degenerative muscular disease and eventually confined to a wheelchair, he memorized extensive portions of Scripture and continued to preach with unusual clarity, conviction, and warmth. Over the course of his ministry he preached in more than 2,000 revival meetings, and in 1997 he helped establish the Expository Preaching Conference, which trained more than 1,500 pastors over nineteen years.

David Miller was married to his beloved wife, Glenda, for more than fifty years. He passed away on August 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faithful exposition, pastoral courage, and steadfast devotion to the Word of God. His life and ministry continue to bear fruit through the sermons, outlines, recordings, and testimonies he left behind for the good of Christ’s church.
