Mark DiStefano

Screenwriting: My twin brother John and I are screenwriters based out of New York City. We have optioned two of our features to production companies and sold our first short film in the spring of 2022. We have several of our scripts under industry consideration at the moment, and we have had a number of our comedy scripts recognized in contests and on industry lists (Red List animated comedy pilots, etc). We just sold our first studio feature film, and production is under way as of spring 2026.

Prose: I've had pieces published in a number of markets, primarily short speculative fiction (The Lorelei Signal, Tree and Stone) and harder science fiction (Penumbric, Hyphen Punk). I have also published pieces in various anthology collections (JayHenge Publishing's Phantom Thieves and Sagacious Scoundrels, Obsidian Butterfly's Necronomi-RomCom anthology).
