Derrick Evans

Derrick Evans is an author whose work grows directly out of two decades spent coaching and mentoring kids. That experience — watching young people wrestle with confidence, setbacks, and self-belief — became the inspiration behind "Your Social Reconstruction: A Young Person's Guide to Rising, Rebuilding, and Reclaiming Your Future" and "The Young Bowler's Mind: Mastering the Mental Game of Bowling — and How It Shapes the Rest of Your Life," both written to hand young readers the mental tools he spent years teaching in person.

Derrick is also active across Prince Hall Masonic lodges and bodies in Ohio, and beyond, work rooted in the same commitment to mentorship that shapes his books. He's currently expanding into fiction, with an upcoming sci-fi series, "Blaklan: The Weight of Power," forthcoming under the pen name Dapper Don.
