I’ve been writing for years, mostly for myself, chasing the little notions that pop into my head at the strangest times. Sometimes I sing them like a tune I can’t shake; sometimes I repeat them like a mantra until they grow into something bigger. One line can build into a whole story — that’s just how my brain works. I never know what genre I’ll land in next. One day it’s fantasy, the next it’s a western, and after that it might be something completely different.I’ve lived a lot of different lives. I’ve worked on ejection seats for Navy aircraft, cooked in restaurant kitchens, and spent years as a quality CMM technician. Every job taught me something, and all of it finds its way into my writing one way or another. I love the outdoors, and nature always slips into my stories — in the landscapes, the moods, the quiet moments that feel bigger than they look.I write because these ideas won’t leave me alone until I do something with them. Every story I create starts the same way: with a spark, a whisper, a single line that refuses to let go.
