Irwin Hackerma

Irwin Hackerman is a jazz musician and trading author whose life changed after leaving the United States during the Vietnam War era, refusing to be drawn into the conflict. His journey eventually led him to Latin America, where he found a new sense of freedom, identity, and artistic inspiration.

While building a life through music and performing jazz across underground scenes and late-night clubs, Hackerman discovered trading as a way to generate extra income between performances and recording sessions. What began as a practical necessity slowly became a deeper passion, which he now shares through his writings.
