Stephen Ramey Glines

Stephen Glines is a writer, journalist, and longtime editor of the Wilderness House Literary Review. Over the course of his career he has published seven books, including the novel Poplar Hill and a travelogue on Fiji, and his work has appeared in publications ranging from the Boston Globe and Technology Review to the Belmont Citizen and the Littleton Independent.

Glines writes with a storyteller's instinct and a journalist's eye for detail, drawn to characters shaped by history and hardship. Poplar Hill, his acclaimed novel, follows Kitty Stevenson a woman forged by the Great Depression and marked forever by her escape from Nazi Germany as she confronts a wartime secret she has carried for decades.
