Peter Garrett

Peter Garrettīs huge portfolio of work in numerous sectors and countries is outlined in his inspiriing book A New Kind of Dialogue (Dialogue Publications, 2021) and various podcasts including 100 Stories of Dialogue at Work. He is widely acknowledged as the leading dialogic consulting practitioner, theorist and architect for organizational intervention and whole system work. He works internationally and moves seasonally between his homes in the UK (the Cotswolds), South Africa (Cape Town) and Spain (Girona). Peter is a Founding Members of the Academy of Professional Dialogue (accreditation body for Professional Dialogue), Dialogue Associates (consultancy with Jane Ball) and Prison Dialogue (charity). He has been pioneering the remarkable use of dialogue in organizational and social situations since his original seminal work with physicist David Bohm 1984 to 1992 (see Dialogue - a Proposal by Bohm, Factor and Garrett), and was a close colleague of Patrick de Mare (Median Group Psychotherapist) and David Kantor (Systems Psychologist). Peter is an inspiring speaker with a wealth of pragmatic and theoretical insights based on his first-hand experiences.
