Shelby E. Phillips

In the spring of 2024 my first young adult mystery "Trail of Evidence" was published and shortly thereafter nominated by Delta Kappa Gamma for the 2025 Jeanette Fair Memorial Book Award recognizing it as a DKG Honorary Book.

"Blink" my second stand-alone novel in the Sam Rogers Mystery Series is now complete and soon to be published.

I have enjoyed a career teaching English and art in the public middle schools. Working in the classroom has allowed me to help students acquire my love for these subjects while building lifelong relationships and memories with the kids shuffling in and out of my classroom not to mention my heart. My students spontaneity and innate creativity made each day a once in a lifetime experience.

I live on a small lake and when I'm not writing, I'm on the tennis court; playing pickleball; or traveling with my husband.
