Tami Goulet built this whole thing after years of being the woman in her own books. The one who looked like she had it all together and felt completely worn out underneath it.
She knew early on that there was more to life than what you can see, taste, smell, hear, or touch. As a small child, she learned to read the energy and tone of a room long before she had words for any of it. (Yes, she was that kid. The one who knew what you were feeling before you did.) That sensitivity became her work. She has a knack for taking the big, woo-sounding stuff and bringing it down into regular, everyday, did-you-pack-the-umbrella life.
She also knows what it costs to disappear from your own life. To say yes just to keep the peace. To walk on eggshells, give everything away, and still feel guilty for wanting something of your own. Tami has made the hard choices, including the ones that scared her the most, and rebuilt herself on the other side without blowing up everything she'd worked for. It took the universe a couple of not-subtle nudges to get her moving. She's a quick study now.
Her first book, Whole All Along, is part permission slip, part map back to the woman who was there the whole time. She has written chapters in other anthologies, and more books and anthology chapters are on the way. And the message under all of it stays the same: you get to matter too, and you don't have to put yourself above everyone else to do it. You just need to put yourself on the same level as you do everyone else. And every yes and every no is a choice you make, not an expectation to fulfill.
She's the founder of Speak Your Soul Magicks in Ottawa, where her writing meets her coaching, her Everyday Magicks™ Affirmation Deck and Journal, and a little shop with a neon sign that says exactly what she's about: Speak Your Soul. Stop in. She'll probably read your energy before you finish saying hello.
