Daniil Kovalenko

Daniil Kovalenko is a Ukrainian writer based in the United States. He writes dark, character-driven speculative fiction about identity, trauma, power, and survival. Before focusing on fiction, he worked in game development, where he contributed to narrative design and worldbuilding.

His cyberpunk novel To Bait a Demon combines cinematic action, corporate warfare, body modification, and deeply human characters caught inside systems much larger than themselves. Daniil is currently working on new speculative fiction projects across science fiction, fantasy, and psychological mystery
