Michael Mueller

Michael Mueller started building the War for the Entar universe in fifth grade. What began as a notebook about a hero and villain grew into a thirty-year labor of love spanning over 13,000 years of fictional history, more than thirty alien species, and nine magic systems.

Raised on Star Trek, Star Wars, and bedtime readings of Tolkien, Michael spent decades refining the blend of science fiction and fantasy that defines the franchise. Every species, every faction, every magic system was built from scratch with its own rules, culture, and history.

A Warrior's Burden is the first published entry in the saga, with The First Rival and Rise of a Hero following close behind. The series is fully planned from beginning to end: nine novels with additional novellas filling in the lore between them.

Michael lives with the conviction that the best stories are the ones their creators could not stop telling.
