Stephanie A. Grasso

Stephanie Grasso is a teacher by trade and at heart — and a creative one at that. She loves reading, writing, learning, and curating content in interesting ways for students and teachers alike.

She has spent her career working with multilingual learners and diverse classrooms in New York City. Stephanie has taught English Language Arts at ELLIS Preparatory Academy in the South Bronx, where she developed and refined the theme-based planning approach presented in this book. Beyond the classroom, she has coached teachers, led professional development workshops, and collaborated with educators across content areas to design instruction that supports every learner.

Stephanie holds a B.A. in Spanish Literature and Latin American Studies from Tulane University, an M.A. in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles, and Advanced Degree Certificates from Bank Street College of Education and CUNY-Lehman College.

Currently residing in the Greater New York City area, she continues to cultivate learning experiences for teachers and students in the public and private sectors. Stephanie is also a meditator, a writer, and a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. Clarity Works is her first book.
