I started a business before COVID — poured everything I had into it, and when that wasn't enough, took on other jobs just to keep it running. It still failed. Not long after, I lost my home too.
That's where the real question started: what does resilience actually look like? I began reaching out to other people going through the same thing, and slowly found my way back through creativity — first writing, then drawing, then both together. That's where Living on Kindness came from. Not long after, I built a website around the same idea: kindness as a workable social model, not just a feeling.
These days I drive for Uber to help fund the project, writing and building this world one book — and one shift — at a time. The goal has stayed the same the whole way through: to help bring people, and the world, to a better place.
