Sam Flood

Sam Flood is the author of the *Felicity and Friends* children's book series, inspired by his daughter, Felicity. As a husband and father, Sam began writing children's books in 2026 as a way to create meaningful stories they could enjoy together and share with other families.

Originally from Eden, Wisconsin, Sam now lives in Downers Grove, Illinois, where he balances family life, writing, and his career as a professional web designer. He enjoys creating fun, relatable characters who face everyday challenges, learn important life lessons, and discover the value of kindness, courage, friendship, and perseverance.

Sam regularly reads his stories with Felicity, whose imagination and curiosity continue to inspire new adventures. Through the *Felicity and Friends* series, he hopes to encourage a love of reading while giving parents and children stories they can enjoy together.

Current titles in the series include *Felicity and the Grumpy Goose* and *Felicity and the Hiccup-potamus*, with many more adventures on the way.
