Alexis Casiday

Alexis Casiday is the creator of Your Call is Very Important to Us, a project born from two years of collecting stories and artwork from veterans who served during the OEF/OIF era. A Navy veteran with a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership, Alexis developed the book as a tribute to her brother, Brent Casiday, who served in the United States Marine Corps with 3/1 Kilo Company during the Iraq War.

Passionate about preserving veterans' experiences and honoring their service, Alexis is dedicated to sharing the voices and perspectives of those who served. She is now working on her debut fantasy novel and volunteering to help rescue and protect baby sea turtles along Florida's coast.

Through her work, Alexis seeks to foster connection, understanding, and appreciation for the stories that shape our communities and history.
