Paul Carson

Paul Carson is a medical doctor and writer based in South Dublin, Ireland.

In addition to health and children’s books, he has published six bestselling medical thrillers (Penguin Random House UK). His first novel, Scalpel (1996), was the #1 Irish Times Bestseller for 17 consecutive weeks and remained in the top 5 for a total of 33 weeks. This was followed by Cold Steel (1998), Final Duty (2000), Ambush (2004), Betrayal (2005), and Inquest (2013). All bestsellers, with Inquest shortlisted for Irish Book of the Year (crime fiction).

His works have been translated into twenty languages.
