Thomas E. Rutherford

I retired from the military in 1996 after 20-years of active duty. Immediately after retirement, I became a systems manager/magazine editor for the Arkansas Press Association in Little Rock, Arkansas. Following that, I pursued a BS degree in Computer Science/Math and then a BA in English at Henderson State University. I helped my wife with her various business ventures before she retired for the second time in 2014. I currently spend time writing and fishing. Due to Best's Disease, glaucoma, and a Macular Hole in my left eye, my vision is 20/400 in my left eye and 20/70 in my right eye, with very limited night vision and a loss of visual depth of field. I am blessed with strong family support. Laveda and I live on the shore of a southern Arkansas lake with our two cats, Wendy and Little Bit.
