Scott Moore

Scott Moore is the author of the Wilderness Wanderer series, illustrated picture books that follow Junior Ranger JR and his Bernese Mountain Dog, Oliver, through America's national parks. An author, publisher, and wildlife photographer based in Juneau, Alaska, Scott writes to help young readers learn to love and respect nature. Grounded in real geography and gentle science, his books are made for park-bound families, classrooms, and young adventurers ages 3 to 8. The first book is set in Yellowstone, with Yosemite to follow.
