Scott Rutter

Scott E. Rutter is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with over 20 years of military service. He commanded the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry 'Cottonbalers' in the 3rd Infantry Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom, leading the assault that secured Baghdad International Airport. For his service, he was awarded the Silver Star. During Operation Desert Storm, he commanded C Company, 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry in the 1st Infantry Division and received the Bronze Star for Valor.

After retiring from military service, Scott worked as a FOX News Channel War Correspondent and served as Senior Director at BAE Systems. He is the Founder and President of the Valor Network Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors for TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors).

Scott earned his B.S. in History from Campbell University and an M.S. in Management from the University of Saint Mary. He was named Distinguished Alumnus by Campbell University in 2010.
