David Czerwinski

David Czerwinski is a storyteller, theologian, musician, and lifelong truth-seeker who writes fiction the way he lives — with full attention and nothing held back. His debut novel series, Castle Rock Cove, was born from two words in Micah 6:8 "Loves Mercy" that stopped him cold on a Sunday morning and refused to let him go until he had followed them all the way to their end.

David grew up in the Okanagan Valley — summers on the beach, windsurfing, skiing, unicycling, playing volleyball, and practicing trumpet daily — and has never quite stopped moving since. He spent time in the Nashville music industry in the 1990s helping alternative Christian artists build their careers, has sung and played trumpet on international tours including Ukraine and Russia, released a Christmas album at MerryChristmasBaby dot ca and is the founder of MindSavi, a personal mental wellness and daily inspiration platform, and the kind of creative ideator who will fill a room with fresh ideas before the coffee is finished.

His published works include the Rewiring the Mind / Brain series, Learning to Hear, Father, Make Us One, Jesus Kicked Satan's Ass? / Butt? — books that take the intersection of neuroscience, theology, and spiritual formation seriously and refuse to make any of it smaller than it is.

David believes personal freedom is God-given, that we are stewards of a world worth reclaiming, and that the greatest gift anyone can offer another person is genuine help. He lives and writes in Alberta, Canada — and is still looking forward to mastering kite sailing.
