Rashmi is a fiction author and creative professional whose life revolves around one pure passion: the art of storytelling. Driven by this love, she moved to Mumbai and worked her way up from an intern and an Assistant Director to a Creative Head in the Hindi TV industry through years of resilience.

​While shaping her ambitious Luna Series, she held a strong belief that ancient Indian culture holds the roots for almost any global myth, including werewolf legends. This curiosity led her to spend the COVID-19 isolation diving deep into ancient Puranas, where she unexpectedly encountered the mesmerizing, lesser-known story of Ila.

​Realizing this profound narrative deserved a fresh voice, she rewrote her destiny. Her debut novel, Ila, is not a historical retelling, but a high-octane dark fantasy—a universe where ancient roots are stretched into a world where vampires, were-wolves and cosmic destinies collide.
