Patrick McGowan

Patrick McGowan gained a Master of Creative Arts (Prose) from the University of Wollongong.

He likes to write stories about contemporary Australian life, to capture in words something about the people, the time and the place. Though he reserves the right to foray into other areas, eg poetry and translation.

He identifies his audience as readers who enjoy a good story that’s well told, a story that shows some craft in the use of language, and a work that is both accessible but one that can also trigger a sense of satisfaction at being transported to a new place, where we can reflect a little more on life and its many wonders.
