Deborah Kay Franklin was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has been happily married to her devoted husband, Kevin, for eighteen years. Together, they have blended living children, one from him and three by her. In 2004, Deborah experienced the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, who left behind a six-month-old son. Today, her grandson is twenty-two years old and remains one of the greatest joys of her life.
Deborah has dedicated her life to serving others. She has worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over fifteen years, finding deep fulfillment in caring for her residents and making a positive impact on their lives. In addition to her nursing career, she has been a licensed cosmetologist for more than thirty years, helping individuals look and feel their best.
After enduring profound grief and personal loss, Deborah discovered a new purpose through writing. Drawing from her life experiences, faith, and resilience, she writes to inspire, empower, and spiritually uplift others. Her passion is to encourage individuals to overcome adversity, embrace healing, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose.
