Author of The Resilient Mind · Writing on resilience, courage, and the art of living well.
Francis Vaz is the author of The Resilient Mind: A 33-Chapter Journey — a book about the practice of resilience and the quiet courage it takes to rise after life's most difficult moments.
Born and raised in Igatpuri, Francis has spent years at the intersection of wisdom, faith, and everyday human experience. His writing draws on personal reflection, a deep love of literature, and a conviction that the most important qualities we can cultivate — courage, compassion, integrity, and hope — are not fixed traits but living practices that can be chosen, strengthened, and deepened every day.
The Resilient Mind is his first published book. He is currently working on his second.
Francis lives in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. He writes, reflects, and occasionally wanders into the conversation wherever people are thinking seriously about how to live well.
