Danielle Slusarski

Danielle is a first-time author and mother who was inspired to write Joey Learns Not to Bite through her own experiences navigating early childhood and motherhood. While helping her young son work through biting behaviors, Danielle discovered how storytelling could create meaningful moments of connection and learning between parent and child.

Through relatable characters and gentle life lessons, Danielle hopes to help children, parents, and caregivers navigate big emotions with patience, understanding, and compassion. Joey Learns Not to Bite is the first book in the Joey Learns series, published by Little Learners Big Lessons Press.
