Hailey Freeman believes every story begins with a spark of genuine emotion and a question that demands to be answered. As a lifelong reader turned passionate author, she weaves compelling narratives filled with relatable characters, heart-wrenching choices, and unforgettable journeys of self-discovery.
Her background in creative writing and deep fascination with human relationships allow her to build vibrant worlds that feel deeply real. When she is not sitting at her desk lost in a new manuscript, Hailey enjoys exploring local bookstores, sipping iced lattes, and spending time with her family.
For as long as I can remember reading has been a big part of my life. Shortly after understanding I could create stories, poems and other various items for reading purposes. I threw myself into scribbling every free moment I had, to my parents dismay they were constantly getting reports that I was not focused on my education because I was either reading or writing. I wrote for personal pleasure and eventually for the reading pleasure of my children. Now I still read, my library that holds almost 4 thousand books says such. But now I have resolved to share my minds workings with others, I know that I will not be on the best sellers list anytime soon but I am putting the work out there.
Hailey Freeman is a writer, dreamer, and storyteller who finds inspiration in the quiet moments of everyday life. Living on a farm and surrounded by family, animals, and the beauty of the world around her, she has always found comfort in stories—the kind that make you feel something, see yourself a little differently, and remind you that even the broken pieces can become something beautiful.
For Hailey, writing has always been more than simply putting words on a page. It has been an escape from the real world—a place to disappear when reality becomes too loud, too complicated, or too painful. Through writing, she has found comfort in the ability to create worlds of her own and, in turn, invite other people into them. There is something deeply meaningful to her about creating a place where someone else can escape for a little while, become someone new, or simply feel less alone.
Her writing often explores love, heartbreak, family, healing, loss, resilience, and the complicated emotions that live beneath the surface of who we are. She writes from the heart, drawing inspiration from the experiences that shaped her, the emotions that are sometimes difficult to put into words, and the stories that have lived in her imagination long before they ever found their way onto a page.
When she isn't writing, Hailey enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her animals, dreaming up new stories, and finding inspiration in the little things most people overlook.
For Hailey, writing isn't simply about telling a story. It's about creating somewhere to go when the real world feels like too much—and hopefully giving someone else that same escape. Because sometimes, the worlds we create can become the places where we finally feel understood.
