Jael Barnaul

Jael Barnaul grew up in the New York State countryside, where she and her horse outraced orcs through the woods and red-tailed hawks across the fields. Once Jael put in enough lake effect snow miles, she settled in New Mexico, where the dust and sun did nothing to fuel her imagination. Blessedly, she had enough stored up from childhood. With that and a plea to God for an abortion story idea, Jael wrote Abettor World while raising and homeschooling her three children.
