Kumar Dhananjay

Dhananjay Kumar writes under the pen name Hero@Heart🩷. He holds two lives in careful balance: by profession, he is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Bennett University and a doctoral research scholar at the National Institute of Technology Sikkim. By instinct, he is something else entirely, a writer who distrusts the tidy sentence and prefers the sentence that stands alone, complete, unwilling to explain itself further.

This tension between precision and feeling shapes everything he writes as Hero@Heart🩷. Each paragraph in his work is built to be read as its own small testimony, an aphorism rather than a narrative thread, so that a reader can open to any page and still arrive somewhere true.

His first book, The Sacred Wound: A Burnt Child Loves the Fire, gathers twenty-five literary episodes written across the seasons of a love that was never returned, never betrayed, and never made small, not a heartbreak story, but the record of a man who chose depth over comfort and refused to call the burning a mistake.

His second, UP65: Varanasi, The Pilgrimage of Lost Love, sets that same devotion against the eternal fires of Varanasi's ghats, where grief and memory have burned side by side for centuries.
