Wayne Clarke

Wayne Clarke is an Apostolic Pentecostal Believer who was baptized in The name of The Lord Jesus in Jamaica, and emigrated to the United Kingdom, then later relocated to New York in the USA. He and his wife Ingrid Constable-Clarke are licensed and ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Churches, International. He is now the Pastor of New Beginning Apostolic Church, Binghamton NY, where he serves the Church and the community alongside his beautiful wife Ingrid. Wayne is a graduate of The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, and The University of Birmingham, Edgbaston England. Wayne knows a thing or two about being the underdog or the easily ignored, or being seen as inadequate. He lost his father in 1970, and experienced growing up in a 'red lined' community, where young men were not expected to live past their twenties. Many of his peers met violent deaths or long prison sentences, way too soon, but The Lord preserved his life, and allowed him to envision a world beyond the limited possibilities which he experienced as a young boy. It was this inner burning desire that led him to leave Jamaica with very little in his pocket or bank account, to travel to the United Kingdom on nothing but an unwavering faith in the faithfulness and mercies of The lord whom he had come to encounter. One scripture that has guided his journey is found in Psalm 27 "...I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living..." It is based on his personal experience anchored in the Word of God and the teachings of the Church, that he penned this book The Knicks 4:1 - You too can conquer your 'giants'. ...Oh yes, you too can believe to see and experience the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living, and one day testify of God's faithfulness.
