Maren Amini

Maren Amini tells heavy stories with a light touch —using comics, cartoons, animations, and illustrations.

She works for clients such as the Federal Foreign Office, the Fraunhofer Institute, Der Spiegel, The Washington Post, the Rotary Club, and Jägermeister.

The illustrator and comic artist is based in Hamburg, Germany. She studied illustration and communication design at the HAW Hamburg and serial storytelling at the Academy for Children’s Media in Erfurt.

Her work spans journalism, literature, and corporate communications, using humor as a key narrative tool.
